PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
SAP Concur’s Next Generation Expense product enables businesses to automate expense management and take control of spending, no matter where it happens. The Next Generation Expense UI team is looking for full-stack and frontend engineers who are skilled in frontend application development to create pleasant user experiences, maintain high accessibility standards, and keep performance fast.
You will work on projects that span products, technologies, systems, and processes where you will design, test, and ship great code that tens of millions of people around the world rely on to get work done. In this cross functional role, you will collaborate with experts in product, design, and infrastructure to build the future of Expense management at Concur.

This is a Bellevue, WA based position and a hybrid role where three days per week you will work on site.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Architect and Design new features and create pieces that can be developed, tested, and released quickly.
- Break down feature request documents and UX designs into actionable development tasks backed by thoughtful architectural consideration.
- Maintain and support existing features and address customer concerns as they arise.
- Produce high quality, maintainable, and well tested code that is performant and follows modern best practices and standards.
- Participate in hackathons to explore new product ideas and improve the developer experience for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate directly with coworkers in other disciplines such as UX and Product on a daily basis.
EXPERIENCE:
- You have 4+ years experience in the design and architecture of applications built in JavaScript, preferably built on React, TypeScript, and/or GraphQL.
- You have experience architecting solutions with a view-management framework like React, Vue, Angular, etc.
- You have a complete understanding of how browsers, CDNs, APIs, and databases interact with each other.
- You have experience breaking up large features into smaller consumable tasks which drive development and effectively communicate architectural considerations.
- You are a self-starter. You will have a team to support you but you are expected to be both a leader of one and of others.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 130,500 – 268,700 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
