The most important building block for the successful implementation of the roadmap to becoming a “leading edge” in IT and digital are great employees who want to shape the future of the company with full conviction and joy in their job.Your roleAs an SAP Solution Architect / Solution Designer (m/f/x) you are located in the ZEISS SMT internal IT. Your task is to evaluate departmental requirements for SAP implementation relevance, develop solution designs, function tests and departmental support. Depending on the departmental requirements, this always results in a new mix of process adaptation, master data requirements, user interaction skills and technical implementation expertise. You are a “trusted advisor” for the SAP-using departments, who not only processes and implements specific requirements, but also advises department colleagues on process issues. In projects, you see yourself as a technically oriented link between the department and ZEISS IT and advise the solution managers who work with you.your teamSMT-IT sees itself as an internal provider of support services for the individual departments and as a link to Corporate IT. The strong growth of ZEISS SMT is constantly giving rise to new requirements for processes to be implemented in SAP.your profile
- You are solution-oriented and have the ambition that your designs bring added value to the departments using them
- You know the difference between the communicated customer requirement and the actual customer need and can moderate the resulting differences
- You have many years of experience in SAP consulting or as an SAP key user and are experienced in keeping several technical balls in the air at the same time
- You are a team player, can understand requirements and problems from different perspectives and have a high level of initiative
- You have a good overview of the SAP product portfolio of “Logistics” (e.g. PP, MM, QM, ME/MII, PEO, WM)
- You are familiar with SAP customizing and debugging. Ideally, you have acquired and already applied this knowledge in a production-intensive work environment
- You have successfully completed a degree in (business) information technology, engineering, physics or comparable
- You see a confident demeanor, communication skills and enthusiasm, as well as very good German and English skills, as work tools that you happily and confidently use
