Job description
Do you have solid professional experience in IT project management in the SAP environment and enjoy actively designing and managing customer projects? Are you familiar with project management and dealing with IT systems? Then start your career as a Senior SAP Project Manager at CGI in Eschborn or Kassel and actively shape the future of our customers across all industries.

In this role, you will support in all project phases from conception, design, customizing, prototyping through to rollout as well as 2nd and 3rd level support and, depending on the project, handover to the CGI Managed Services departments. Depending on the project, you will manage and work in an exciting, international environment.

Tasks
You will take on the management and sub-project management of customers in SAP projects.
Project management using common methods and process management are also part of your tasks.
You manage the project team and monitor and document project progress and budget.
You coordinate and manage all project phases, including planning, implementation and completion.
You are also responsible for monitoring and managing project risks.
You act as the customer’s main contact for all project matters.
You regularly present the project status both to the customer and internally to CGI management.

Qualifications
You have at least 10 years of professional experience as a project manager or project leader, ideally with a focus on S/4HANA.
You have in-depth SAP knowledge.
You are familiar with common project management methods and ideally have at least one certification from a recognized project management organization (e.g. PMI, IPMA, Prince), or as a Scrum Master.
You are a strong communicator and have the ability to build and develop trusting relationships with stakeholders on the customer side.
You are characterized by a high degree of initiative and, even in complex situations, you always keep an overview and act in a solution-oriented manner.
You impress with excellent communication skills in German and English.
