Your tasks

What you do your best for.

• Leading technical SAP projects with a focus on SAP Basis activities such as deploying SAP systems in a high availability setup in private and public cloud infrastructures
• Support with technical upgrades of various S/4 and NetWeaver systems
• Performing system landscape updates using third-party or SAP standard tools
• Introduction and further development of an integrated and global system landscape (SAP and non-SAP) for various projects at ALDI
• Support in other areas, such as downtime management for complex SAP and non-SAP systems as well as administration and control of change processes in the production landscape
• Evaluation of new technologies and technical tools to continuously improve the architecture of the system landscape
• Review of external partners and close collaboration with other IT teams and specialist departments
• Coordination and moderation of project meetings, workshops and presentations for internal/external stakeholders

your profile

What you should bring with you.

• Ideally studies with a focus on information technology or computer science
• Good understanding of complex SAP system architecture and the underlying infrastructure as well as the influence of database architecture on high availability
• Professional experience in an international environment and in close collaboration with cross-functional tech and business teams (internal/external)
• Experience in carrying out implementation, upgrade and development projects in SAP environments (e.g. SAP S/4HANA)
• Analytical and structured way of thinking and working, positive mindset and enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English; knowledge of German is an advantage
