The Dev Ops SAP Engineer is a member of the Corporate Business Solutions Organization. The position is accountable for representing Finance, Procurement, & AES needs and ensuring the delivery of appropriate IT automation and optimization solutions against requirements for projects and operational requests. This technical developer position will provide computer application programming support for SAP and likely other automation tools like RPA; Work closely with business partners and teams to identify, evaluate, estimate, prioritize, schedule, develop, test, and implement system and process automation upgrades.

Responsibilities May Include:
Reviewing Business processes and challenging the status quo, while looking for opportunities to streamline, automate, and centralize.

Reviewing the range of solutions available and presenting options and recommendations to customers to meet business requirements.

Developing automations based upon stated requirements.

Understanding business processes, gathering requirements, and linking to technical solutions.

Providing excellent and professional service to business customers.

Providing estimations of effort and testing to project stakeholders.

Determining the feasibility of proposed automations.

Delivering successful unit testing and assisting with user acceptance testing.

Providing hyper-care post-go-live support.

Documenting technical specifications and solution diagrams.

Managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Identifying system performance issues relating to assigned applications and modules and coordinating with the SAP Basis team to resolve performance issues.

Developing guidelines and standards in support of application development practices.

Identifying key programming design issues and recommended possible solutions.

Applying principles of good programming development and maintenance (e.g. programming structure, based on functional/technical design, version control, prioritization, self-testing, and ticket maintenance in ServiceNow tool) in accordance with Phillips Global SAP development and testing methodology.

Driving awareness and adherence to Phillips 66 and IT policies.

Providing the link between the business customers and IT Service Delivery teams and third-party software/vendors.

Reporting on project progress, problems, and solutions to management, Corporate Business Solutions Partners, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

Bachelor’s degree in a Computing, Engineering, or business-related discipline

2 or more years of technical experience with each of the following:

Multiple SAP Modules

SharePoint

SAP ABAP / Web Dynpro / Fiori / CDS Views

AIF

BRF+ SPAU/OSS Notes

SAP Script / Smart Forms / Adobe Forms

Object Oriented Programming

Java

Enterprise Portal

SAP technical support & implementations

Passion to grow career in a technical developer role leveraging diverse technologies

Ability and willingness to provide ad hoc emergency solutions and technology platform support

Strong desire to seek and execute process improvements

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and project-solving skills

Knowledge of programming concepts and the software development lifecycle

Effective time management, work prioritization, and escalation skills

Focus on commitments and delivering results

Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years of Information Technology related experience

2 or more years of experience developing and building RPA solutions with Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, or equivalent automation technology

1 or more years of IT solution development experience

6 or more months experience developing solutions with scripting languages such as JavaScript, VBScript, Python, or PowerShell

Good verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence

Able to work independently, self-motivated with strong customer relationship skills

Works well in a team environment and ability to build and maintain positive relationships

Demonstrated abilities to think strategically, both IT and business

Ability to manage vendor relationships to build long-standing partnerships

Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and priorities

Demonstrated experience in project management methodology and tools

Demonstrated experience with business process management methodology and tools

Demonstrated experience with defining and managing performance metrics

Demonstrated experience in the Oil & Gas Industry

Basic knowledge related to planning, implementation, and change management of smaller projects

Past IT technical knowledge: the ability to communicate and display general knowledge related to IT hardware, networking, and software

Expert with Microsoft Office tools

Experience with a large global corporation with the following skills:
