Our Opportunity: SAP Item Set-Up Administrator

Status: Full Time Day Shift [or Full Time Night Shift]

Hours: 8 hours shift โ€“ 8am โ€“ 4pm

Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday

Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 annually depending on experience


Summary

The SAP Item Set-Up Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining item master data within multiple ERP systems, including SAP. This position requires handling large data sets and ensuring accurate, efficient item creation, updates, and maintenance to support inventory management, costing, pricing, and reporting. The SAP Item Set-Up Administrator will collaborate closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure seamless data integration and operational efficiency.

This role also involves analyzing item data, supporting month-end close processes, and providing insights to improve overall data accuracy, financial reporting, and operational performance at Carolina Beverage Group.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Working along with the SAP Data Analyst creates, updates, and maintains item master data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies.
  • Set up and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and product cost structures within SAP.
  • Assiss SAP Data Analyst t in variance analysis for cost changes related to raw materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry to support new product development (NPD) and engineering changes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies within SAP.
  • Support month-end close processes by ensuring cost data is accurate and aligned with financial reports.
  • Monitor inventory item attributes, classifications, and tracking codes to support warehouse and production teams.
  • Work with IT and SAP support teams to test system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting to support decision-making and process improvements.

What You Need to Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and correct data inconsistencies.
  • Willingness to work some weekends and nights as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to manipulate large datasets.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, inventory management, and costing principles is a plus.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of a wide variety of analytical testing equipment and microbial testing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records with math and science skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associateโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field; experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working with SAP ERP systems, specifically in item master data management


Job Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.

Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.

The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor.
