Full job description
SAP Consultant with Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implementation includes integration and configuration in SAP HANA, SAP BPC and SAP BW and SAP IBP
- Implementation of Profit and Loss Planning application, Budget Planning, Capex Panning, Asset Planning and Demand Planning.
- Responsible for design and implementation of required logics for all planning functions.
- Responsible for designing and developing required dash boards using SAP AO and SAP SAC tools.
- Responsible for Integrate source of truth and planning application kit.
- Support of bug fixes and issues reported post implementation support.
- Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level.
- Responsible for utilizing tools and equipment involved in performance of essential functions of programming including measuring instruments.
- Define and Perform SAP Implementation tasks required for the implementation of SAP. Also, provide necessary expertise to the project and knowledge transfer to client personnel. Consultant deliverables will be defined by the project plan, but generally will correlate with standard industry accepted deliverables in an SAP implementation conducted in accordance with the ASAP Implementation Methodology. Deliverables will collectively contribute to the SAP Implementation project and include:
- Conduct and Coordinate business blueprint meetings with business and cross functional teams for understanding client’s business requirements for the SAP BPC and SAC Planning tools.
- Prepare a Business Blueprint (BBP), AS-IS, TO-Be Documents, Functional, Technical and Test Specification Documents for Financial planning’s, Budget planning’s and business processes and store the documents in MS-SharePoint for approvals and sharing with other team(s).
- Design, Configure, Develop, Implement and Deliver Capex, Financial, Budget and Forecast Planning applications using SAP BPC and SAC solutions to achieve defined business goals as per the blueprint, Functional & Technical specifications.
- Attending meetings & closely follows the strategic direction & decision set by senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance/ approval on business processes for ongoing and project(s) in pipeline.
- Provide solutions for end-to-end business processes implementations, cutover tasks & Integration including data migration & conversions from legacy systems into target systems using various SAP tools such as BPC, SAC and IBP.
- Conduct and Coordinate testing with the business users using tools such as HPQC, ALM and prepare training manuals for the end user community.
- Identify, report, resolve & track the issues/defects till they are closed in HPQC, JIRA and SharePoint.
- Participate in the project cut over & go-live tasks.
- Lead and facilitate design workshops, provide guidance in the definition of solution design and appropriate best practices.
- Translate business requirements and goals into appropriate solutions.
Skills / Knowledge required:
- 5+ years of strong experience in SAP BW BPC SAC with SAP ECC & S/4 HANA back ground.
- Should be expert in financial planning processes with proven full cycle SAP implementation or multiple roll out projects and associated deliverables.
- Should have in-depth experience in Business Process reengineering and Process optimizations in critical financial areas and provide effective solutions to clients.
- Expertise in SAP BPC BAdi’s Logic Scripts, SAC Advanced formula’s , Analytical tools
- Knowledge on Reporting tools like Power BI, SAC
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Great team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented, should possess excellent ability to understand complex business processes and help teams to solve critical problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage key relationships between stakeholders involved in an upgrade/implementation environment.
- Strong analytical, organizational, time management, facilitation, and process leadership skills
- Maintain a positive work environment through collaboration & conflict resolution
Work location is Portland, ME with required travel to client locations throughout USA.
